Hi, I’m Garry, I get up early to do the Breakfast Show. I’ve got twin girls and a little boy. I drink ALOT of coffee. I love being one of the first to see what’s going on in the world and being able to tell you while you’re having your Frosties.
When I’m not doing that, I’ll usually be at home playing cars. My little boy is obsessed with Disney Cars so I’ve become quite an expert on all the vehicles. My favourite is Snotrod.
My ideal day would be a lie-in followed by a pub lunch then off to see a movie (sci-fi if poss) and grab a takeaway curry on the way home. However since the kids arrived it’s never happened. Instead, a day off starts with a small child jumping on my head, followed by marmite on toast, swimming lessons (for the kids) a Spongebob Squarepants marathon and then dinner is any food the kids have refused to eat for any one of twelve reasons. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The great thing about being in Kent is how many great places there are to go to that have their own unique identities. Town, country seaside. We’ve got it all! And the show gives me an excuse to explore. I’ve found out that the people of Canterbury love hugging, that Leysdown has the best chips, that riding the Scenic
Railway at Dreamland 7 times without stopping, so you can film, makes you giddy and that if you’re going to do the Betteshanger Country Park assault course you should do some training first!
