Women and Autism

As part of the Power of Women Festival in Thanet this month, there will be a showing of a film made by the Kent Autistic Trust called Women and Autism
The film features 5 autistic women talking about how autism affects their lives. This will be followed with a talk by Marion Armstrong, then a question & answer session. There will also be poetry readings.
The event is taking place at the Turner Contemporary, Margate, this Saturday, March 16th from 10.15- 11.30am. Admission is by ticket only, which is free and can be download at the site given below.
Both events have been organised by Marion Armstrong, a retired engineer, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 72.
