Music Blaster Competition Rules
Anyone who enters the Competition (an "Entrant") will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
The following rules are together with, and in addition to the kmfm competition terms and conditions which can be found here.
To enter the Competition an Entrant must register by sending one text message to kmfm when asked by the on air presenter.
Entrants must text ‘kmfm’ plus their full name and postcode to 60099.
Texts are charged at your standard network rate.
Entrants will have an allotted time to text, as announced by the on air presenter.
Texts after this time will not be included but may still be charged.
Incomplete texts may not be entered.
A random text will be chosen from the correct entries and an entrant called back to play 'Music Blaster.'
A selection of music clips that must be identified by the artist. One point will be awarded for every correct answer. There can be no passes.
The entrant who scores the highest amount on the last weekday of the month will win. For example if the 31st is a Saturday it will be Friday 30th.
This competition will finish the day before the last weekday of the month when station wide competitions are running on a Friday (eg, '£1k Drop' or 'Cash For Christmas'). Meaning 'Music Blaster' will finish on the last Thursday of the month rather than the Friday, unless the last day/s of the month continue into the next week, eg if Monday is the 31st of the month.
'Music Blaster' will not run on any weekday when station wide competitions are also running.
In the event of more than one entrant with the same high score, one of those will be chosen at random and they will win the prize.
If the chosen entrant does not answer their phone or the call goes to answer phone for whatever reason, including any faults before/during the call and it's not possible to re-establish the call, another entrant will be chosen at random.
If the chosen entrant is driving at the time of the call and can not pull over or the entrant can not continue for whatever reason, another entrant may be chosen at random A call will be recorded and played out on air.
The randomly chosen entrant will be required to have a chat with the on air presenter and play the game.
This competition runs on kmfm Drivetime Monday-Friday.
This competition does not run during bank holidays (eg, bank holiday Monday).
The last round of the competition in December 2020 will be on 24th December. Prize money can still take up to 28 days to reach the winner's account.
£300 (paid into the winner's bank account).
