KM Colour Run

You could start the KM Colour Run!

The KM Colour Run is a VERY fun event designed to get you moving. You can run, walk or jog the 5km route while being covered in coloured powder!

The 2019 event is at Betteshanger Park, Deal on Sunday 9th June and we want you to start the race!

We are looking for two Kent kids (under 18) to join our kmfm Street Team to start the race with jet colour cannons. You will then hang out with our guys at the KM Colour Station throwing coloured powder at all the runners!

Whether you're siblings or besties. If you're up for starting the KM Colour Run why don't you or your parents tell us below before 23:00 on 27th May 2019. GOOD LUCK.

The winner and their parents are also invited to take part in the run if they want to.

kmfm Discount

kmfm is giving Adults £6 off entry and children £2 off entry. Use the code 'kmfmdiscount' when booking your place. Book here.

KM Colour Run
Standard entry fee is £20 for adults or just £12 for children. The price includes a limited edition KM Colour Run T-shirt, glasses, small bag of coloured powder and a medal on completion. Spectators can purchase additional bags of coloured powder on the day and join in the fun of the event by throwing it over participants.

This is a fundraising event! You can raise funds for any charity of your choice. Simply click the link to book your place online. Any sponsorship raised will be split 70-30 between your favourite charity and the children’s road safety service at the KM Charity Team. A special sponsor form is enclosed in your event pack which is emailed to you when you book. Under 16’s do not need to raise sponsorship money.

Will the colour wash off skin and out of hair?
Yes. The easiest way to get it off is while it is still dry. After that, soap and water with a little rinse – then repeat if needed.

What if it gets in my eyes?
We recommend you wear sunglasses as this will reduce the chances of this happening. However, the coloured corn starch is non toxic. A simple rinse with water will take care of it.

Can I inhale it?
It is a lot like breathing dust, prolonged exposure is not recommended. However no harm will come to you from breathing in a small amount of dust.

I don’t want to run – I want to throw the coloured dust!
If you want to be in the thick of the action you can pay £10 and be a Colour Bandit for the event. You will join KM Charity Team staff and help us to throw the coloured powder over participants!

KM Colour Run is staged as a fundraising event to support the educational services delivered by the KM Charity Team. Booking charges and corporate sponsorship, together with our share of sponsorship raised by participants, are put towards the educational work of the KM Charity Team in the county’s schools.
