5 IN TIME Competition Rules

Anyone who enters the Competition (an "Entrant") will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

The following rules are together with, and in addition to the kmfm competition terms and conditions which can be found here.

To enter the Competition an Entrant must register by sending one text message to kmfm when asked by the on air presenter.

Entrants must text ‘kmfm’ plus their full name and postcode to 60099. 

Texts are charged at your standard network rate.

Entrants will have an allotted time to text, as announced by the on air presenter.

Texts after this time will not be included but may still be charged.

Incomplete texts may not be entered.

A random text will be chosen from the correct entries and an entrant called back to play '5 IN TIME.' 

The entrant will be asked 5 questions with a range of topics including music, entertainment and general knowledge. One point will be awarded for every correct answer. There can be no passes, the on air presenters will not provide clues and the on air presenters must take the first answer given by the entrant. 

The time taken for the entrant to answer the questions will be recorded, if 60 seconds has elapsed the game will end and 60 seconds will be recorded for the entrant's time.

The entrant with the highest score and the fastest time on the last competition day of the month (subject to calendar dates) will win £500 (to be paid into the winner's bank account).

On air the entrant's gameplay time will be stated to one decimal place, their gameplay time will be recorded off air to two decimal places in order to determine a winner in the case of a tie. 

An entrant can only play once per month if they are top of the leaderboard. Should they then have their top score beaten during that same month they can enter the competition again.

This competition will finish the day before the last weekday of the month when station wide competitions are running on a Friday (eg, 'Thousand Pound Friday' or 'Cash For Christmas'). Meaning '5 IN TIME' will finish on the last Thursday of the month rather than the Friday, unless the last day/s of the month continue into the next week, eg if Monday is the 31st of the month.

Should there be a situation where there are no entries, the presenter will re-set the competition. If there are no entries, the competition round for that day will not happen.

'5 IN TIME' will not run on any weekday when station wide competitions are also running.

If the chosen entrant does not answer their phone or the call goes to answer phone for whatever reason, including any faults before/during the call and it's not possible to re-establish the call, another entrant will be chosen at random.

If the chosen entrant is driving at the time of the call and can not pull over or the entrant can not continue for whatever reason, another entrant may be chosen at random

The randomly chosen entrant will be required to have a chat with the on air presenter and play the game.

Their call will be recorded and played out on air.

This competition runs on Getting You Home on kmfm Monday-Friday.

This competition does not run during bank holidays (eg, bank holiday Monday) or during long holiday weekends.

Prize: 

£500 (paid into the winner's bank account).
