Cool Skool Sketch Show

Kent school kids are taking over kmfm with their own sketch shows!

In a kmfm first, we're bringing you a week of comedy sketches, entirely written and performed by school kids across Kent!

'Cool Skool Sketch Show' is a collaboration with Kent based production company 'unusual,' in association with the Audio Content Fund. Year 5 and 6 children from all over Kent have come together to write and perform sketches and songs recorded in schools from Lydd to Margate, Wingham to Dymchurch, Herne to Chartham primaries.

Over 350 children have taken part in comedy writing and recording workshops led by writers of TVs multi-award-winning 'Horrible Histories' and ‘Dead Ringers,' culminating in ten kid-crazy hilarious shows full of silly jokes and impressions.

It’s a riotous romp of ridiculous characters, TV and film spoofs, mad music, and supersized sound effects as Kent kids run riot across the kmfm airwaves in their very own ten-part comedy series – and all broadcast on kmfm Breakfast (7:30am) and Daytimes (3:30pm).

Listen to kmfm's 'Cool Skool Sketch Show' from 18th through to 22nd April.
