Charity sale for Padua Ward at William Harvey Hospital

To whom it may concern 

As part of my son's A-Level Business Studies coursework he has to plan, organise, and run a charity event. After lots of consideration he decided to run  a charity garage sale to raise money to buy toys for the Padua Ward (children's ward) at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford. There will also be a tombola for adults and children; and we are hoping that a fire engine from Ashford fire station will be popping along for children to sit in (but this is subject to them being called out on a job). We have hundreds of items for sale ranging from baby toys and items, to board games and household items; and electric scooters and brand new clothes to single and double pushchairs.

He advertised on various Facebook selling sites and local area pages for any donations that people may be able to make. The response has been incredible and he has lots of items to sell now. He has lots of baby and children's toys; homewares; games; teddies; even electric scooters and jewellery. My only concern is people actually turning up for the sale and donating money. 

The sale is on Sunday 28th July from 10am on Richmond Meech Drive, Little Burton, Kennington, just by the One Stop car park, TN24 9RF. 

He is putting posters in lots of shop windows, in his school, on lamp posts and anywhere else that he can. 

The purpose of my email is to ask if there is any possibility of you being to mention the sale on your station at all???? It's such an amazing cause and so so many people that we have collected items from have said what a brilliant idea it is and how they will come along to the sale to support it. However, if people don't turn up to buy items then it's all been pointless, the Padua ward lose out and my son will feel awful. 

If there is any form of support you can offer in terms of letting your listeners know about his event it would be massively massively appreciated.
