KM Big Bike Ride - East Kent

Ride for charity or for fun at the KM Big Bike Ride on Sunday 12 September 2021.

Organised by children’s charity, the KM Charity Team, the challenge offers either a 50K or 100K route. Both routes set off from and finish at Betteshanger Park near Deal – taking in beautiful countryside and coastline along the way.

You can raise money for any good cause or volunteer group of your choice whether it’s your local PTA or a major charity. 70% of sponsorship raised will go to nominated causes and 30% to the KM Charity Team to cover event costs and contribute towards its literacy, green travel and road-safety work with schools.

Booking price of £30 includes mid-ride refreshments, sportive photograph taken on the ride, electronic chip timing, and souvenir medal.

Safety measures in line with government guidance on COVID-19 will include staggered check-in times and social distancing. Numbers are strictly limited and there will be no ‘on-the-day’ bookings.

Check-in waves are between 8am and 10am and cyclists aged 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
