Join The Evie Dove Foundation on Saturday 5th September 2026 in Hythe, Kent for a 16-mile flat coastal walk or a 3-mile canal stroll in bright pink t-shirts!

Now in its fourth year, the Big Coastal Walk takes place in Hythe, Kent, offering two inclusive routes: a 16-mile flat coastal walk and a 3-mile canal walk, perfect for families and all fitness levels. Both walks start and finish at Unit 1 Riverside at 10:00am.
The event honours the legacy of 13-year-old Evie Dove, whose family and friends launched the Foundation after she passed away from a brain tumour in 2022. Funds raised go directly towards specialist training for healthcare professionals caring for children.
For the Big Coastal Walk it is a £10 sign up fee which includes a t-shirt, refreshment stops, and a medal.
For the Little Canal Walk it is a £5 sign up fee, this includes a goodie pack for any children taking part, and a medal. You will also be able to purchase a t-shirt for the exclusive price of £5.
The event is becoming hugely popular with almost 300 people signing up last year!
