Be Bright Be Seen 2023 - KCC

Be Bright Be Seen with Kent County Council and the Kent Road Safety Team is back for 2023

Kent County Council proudly presents their annual "Be Bright Be Seen" campaign, a local initiative aimed at keeping your children safe while travelling to and from school.

With the dark mornings and evenings here to stay for a bit, we want to help make sure your children are visible whilst asking motorists to be extra vigilant on and around Kent’s roads.

Those early morning school journeys and rides home can be treacherous, and it's crucial that we all take safety seriously.

As the clocks go back we're gearing up for more young students traveling to and from school in the dimly lit hours. The KCC Road Safety Team is here to ensure your children are not just seen but shining bright to help keep them safe.

We want your children to stand out in the dark to help motorists clearly spot them. To make this happen, we encourage all children and their parents to wear something reflective whilst making their morning and evening journeys.

We have another 25,000 kmfm and Kent County Council 'Be Bright Be Seen' reflective keyrings for children to hang on to a bag, lunchbox or coat to help make them more visible.

These reflective items are more than just accessories; they're safety gear that could save them from injury.

Be a part of the "Be Bright Be Seen" campaign for free and let your children shine like the stars they are! Together, we'll light up the streets and keep everyone safe on the roads.

Before you register your school/group, please make sure you have read our terms of registration.
