Christmas Lights 2021 - Canterbury
Join kmfm for the Christmas light switch on in Canterbury, with Canterbury BID on Friday 12th November!
5 miles of festive lights and over 100,000 thousand bulbs are all ready to be lit up along Canterbury city centre, and you are invited!
This year it is a Christmas Light Up Parade. It starts at 6pm from The Marlowe and makes its way to Rose Square. Wherever you are standing along the route you will be able to see the parade and the Christmas lights switched on.
Join kmfm's Andy Walker and the cast of this years Marlowe Theatre pantomime, 'Jack and the Beanstalk' as they press the red button to light up Whitefriars at 6:30pm.
The parade will be led by the fantastic 'No Limits Band,' members of The Marlowe Theatre panto cast in a fairy tale carriage, Christmas characters and lanterns. Plus the hard working elves will be making sure that Canterbury is sparkling along the way.
