Glitterbomb - Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions

Anyone who enters the Competition (an "Entrant") will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them

The following rules are together with, and in addition to the kmfm competition terms and conditions which can be found here 

Competition Rules.

To enter the Competition an Entrant must answer the question correctly and enter all required details. 

Incomplete entries may not be counted.

Entrants must be a resident in Kent and live in the BR, CT, DA, ME, or TN postcode areas.

Winners will be selected at random from correct entries and contacted. 

This competition starts on 28th June and closes at 23:00 on 24th July 2022.

Prizes

There will be 2 prizes. Each prize consists of 2x VIP tickets to Glitterbomb in the Park Saturday 30th July.

VIP tickets include meet and greet to be arranged by the promoter and are subject to event running times.

Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. This prize cannot be exchanged for cash. Tickets can not be moved to a future date nor any other Glitterbomb events.

The promoter will issue tickets or add your name to a guest list and you will be given this information should you be chosen as a winner. You will be contacted on Monday 25th July if you have won.

 

Event Terms

Can under-18s attend this event?
Yes, the event is open to all ages. Those wanting to attend who are under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Will there be food and drink on sale?
There will be food stalls and a licensed bar onsite for all guests. All of our vendors are independent and set their own menus and prices. Please be aware that Challenge 25 will be in operation relating to the purchase of alcohol.

Can I bring my own alcohol?
Due to licensing laws, we cannot allow alcohol to be brought into the event. Security checks will take place upon arrival.

Can I bring other food and drink?
The only item permitted is a sealed bottle of water at a maximum of 500ml. There will be free drinking water available onsite.

Do I have to purchase tokens for food and drink?

Yes, our event site is completely cashless, which means you will have to purchase tokens for both food and drink at the event.

Can I pay via cash or card at the bars?

You won’t be able to purchase any food or drink at the event without tokens.

How many tokens do I need?

This depends on how much food and drink you intend to buy, however you can purchase extra tokens throughout the event, should you need more. Token booths to purchase tokens are situated throughout the event site.

What do I do with any extra tokens?

All tokens are non-refundable and therefore we ask that you only purchase what you intend to spend at the event.

How can I purchase tokens?

You can purchase your tokens on the day with both cash and card.

Why is it tokens only?

Tokens significantly speed up service, which results in more time for you to enjoy the event and less time queueing for food and drinks.

Can I bring my pet?
No. Only guide dogs are allowed onsite.

If I need to leave the festival area, will I be able to get back in?
You will not be able to leave the site and come back.

 

I can’t wait to see the announced performers, now that there are less restrictions than last year, can you guarantee their attendance? 

Every effort will be made to keep the line-up unchanged and all of our performers are very excited about appearing. There may be some circumstances where it is best for a performer not to perform e.g. due to unforeseen circumstances or if they need to self-isolate in the event of contracting Covid-19 or for other health reasons. We reserve the right to make alterations to the lineup if needed. 

 

I really want to meet the performers! Will this be possible? 

We will be selling a limited number of upgrade tickets for meet and greets with some of our performers. These upgrade tickets all require a general admission ticket for entry and also allow admission into our VIP area. 

 

Where can I park?
Unfortunately, there is no onsite parking for event guests (except those with a disabled badge) and you will need to park in one of the many car parks in the local area. For more details on those, please visit this site.

Is the audience area wheelchair accessible?
There is full disabled access onsite as well as disabled toilets. There will be a specific viewing area for our disabled guests. We will do our best to accommodate your needs at the event. Limited disabled parking is available in Mote Park’s main car park.

What happens if there’s bad weather?
Hopefully due to the time of year the weather won’t affect us too much but the ground at the park can become softer in the event of wet weather. If there’s been rain leading up to the event or on the day of the event itself, it’s fine to wear wellies and raincoats. The event will be going ahead rain or shine.

It’s the day of the event and I can’t find my tickets – what shall I do?
If you cannot find your tickets on the day, we would advise coming to the event as soon as it opens and we will check our ticketing system manually for you at the entrance, however the whole party that you purchased tickets for will have to be present.

Can I buy tickets on the door?
If tickets are still available on the day, then they will be available to purchase on the door – however please bear in mind that these will be more expensive than a pre-booked ticket.

I can’t attend the event anymore – what shall I do?
Unfortunately tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us prior to opening. You are, however, welcome to pass on your tickets to a friend or family member.

I’m bringing a baby with me, are there going to be baby changing facilities on site?

Yes.

Are you offering carer tickets for those attending with disabilities?

Yes. Disabled guests can purchase a ticket and email the confirmation, as well as a photo/copy of their DLA/PIP letter to team@glitterbombevents.co.uk. We will then process the documents and send a complimentary carer ticket by return.
