During these current times so many businesses have found themselves having to change their model slightly so that they can still provide their services to you. Wards is one of those.
They have adapted during the pandemic with all new Virtual Reality tours to create a realistic experience for their customers. VR is something that wouldn’t have been introduced without the need to respond to lockdown restrictions; but it is something that will now always be on offer.
With this in mind, comes 'Kent's Local Heroes!' What amazing ways have your local small businesses modified their services? What outstanding contributions have they made to your community in these challenging times?
Nominate your local hero and let’s celebrate those who have adapted and raise the flag for the small businesses whose worlds have been turned upside down in the last year – when we shop local, we preserve local.

8. Community Star (for significant contributions to their community)
Those that you are voting for must be a paid service that have adapted and modified their services in response to COVID-19, or have made outstanding contributions to their community. Eg, a barber changing an unused yard into a social distanced outside waiting area, a gardener maintaining an elderly neighbours garden or restaurants donating food to the M20 lorry drivers at Christmas.
