The 'Top 500' Number 1 has been revealed!

The Top 500 has become somewhat of a tradition at Christmas. From Saturday 27th December through to New Year's Eve we counted down 500 of the biggest songs from the 90s, 00s, 10s and now.

But who was Number 1?

Lewis Capaldi - Survive

'Survive' is Lewis Capaldi's first single in two years, following his break from touring and performing when he said that he needed to focus on his mental and physical health.

He debuted the song at Glastonbury on June 27th, 2025 (the same day the song was released). It was Lewis' return to the stage for the first time since his Glastonbury performance in 2023 that he had to cut short.

'Survive' is the lead single from Capaldi's third EP of the same name.
