This competition starts on 10th March and closes at 23:00 on 31st March 2022.

Prize:

A year's (12 months) free broadband from Trooli.

1x laptop (worth £400).

Broadband is subject to being available at the winner's address. If it is not the winner will win just the laptop.

If the winner does not live in an area serviced by Trooli, this means that the 12 months broadband cannot be installed, but they will still win the laptop. There is no cash alternative offered.

kmfm can in no way be held responsible for any accidental damage or costs that may occur in connection with this promotion. kmfm does advise that should the winner not be sure how the installation is done to ask the engineer to explain in further detail.

The winner will be required to set up a direct debit with Trooli for the broadband to be arranged initially. The winner will not be required to make any payments during the 12 month free broadband period. When that period comes to an end, Trooli will contact the winner with the options (including costs) to continue their broadband. This will be a contract between the winner and Trooli. Please read Trooli's terms and conditions on this and in full, below.

Trooli's Broadband terms and conditions

The below terms and conditions relate to the ‘Win Free Broadband for a year’ promotion with kmfm only. These promotional terms do not replace or amend our core network terms of service, which all customer connections are bound by. These terms can be found at https://www.trooli.com/about-us/legal/

This promotion excludes employees (and immediate family) of Trooli, their affiliates, agencies or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

Entrants must be 18 years or over and have the authority to decide the broadband provider for their residence.

No entries from agents, third parties, organized groups, syndicates or anyone using aliases will be accepted.

Internet access is required.

Entrants will be asked to confirm whether their home is listed on the postcode checker on the Trooli website.

Entrants can check if their address is serviceable by the Trooli network via the postcode checker at Trooli.com. The promoter’s decision on which premises are serviceable by the Trooli network is final.

The main ‘Win free broadband for a year’ prize consists of:
12 months free broadband, from our 300 Residential product
300 Mbps Download / 100 Mbps Upload speed
Free activation incWi-FI 6 router
Free standard installation

Existing Trooli customers can enter this competition.

To be eligible to claim their prize, the winners must:
a.    Be entering to receive broadband at an address that is already serviceable by the Trooli network
b.    Be authorised to order broadband for the address entered
c.    Complete activation of their broadband service by 30th May 2022.
i.    If customers are in contract with their existing supplier until after this date, they will be able to have Trooli installed and either run these services concurrently or cancel their existing service.
ii.    In choosing not to do so, the customer agrees not to receive the prize and the promoter reserves the right to redraw.

To claim the ‘free broadband for a year’ prize the winner will be required to set up a direct debit with Trooli for the broadband to be arranged initially. The winner will not be required to make any payments during the 12 month free broadband period. This contract will require customers to enter into an agreement for broadband services with Trooli Limited including (but not limited to):

a.    Placing an order either at Trooli.com or with a member of the sales team
b.    Confirming they have approved the Trooli network terms of service
c.    Setting up a Direct Debit to enable the payment for the broadband service at the end of the free year.

When the free 12 month period comes to an end, Trooli will contact the winner with the options (including costs) to continue their broadband. This will be a contract between the winner and Trooli.

The prize does not include a phone line, as the Trooli network does not require one.

The Winner will receive an estimated installation date at the point of prize confirmation / order, based on our best knowledge of lead times at that point.

Wherever possible, the promoter will aim to complete customer installations within 4 – 6 weeks of the date of prize confirmation. The promoter does, however, reserve the right to delay activations (with notice) depending on unforeseen circumstances and non-promotional demand. Customers will be informed and will still be eligible to receive their prize. These reasons can include but are not exclusive to:

a)    Property being subject to final network  build requirements in newer areas
b)    Unexpected issues with customer lead ins e.g. unexpected blockages
c)    Customer or 3rd party delays with voucher processing where relevant
d)    Level of broader demand and installation resource

Free activation and installation are dependent on the premise either being:
a.    Identified as a ‘standard lead in’
b.    Being eligible for a voucher under the Government’s Rural Voucher Scheme

If your household is in a connectable location Trooli will do their utmost to install your broadband, however there are unique circumstances specific to your location that might prohibit the install without further cost, in which case it won’t be possible to connect you but you will still win the laptop prize.

Where a premises is eligible for the Government’s Rural Voucher Scheme, the winner must confirm this voucher via the BDUK process at both the point of prize confirmation and subsequently after activation. Failure to do so will see standard installation and broadband charges added to the monthly account.

No cash (or alternate) prize alternative is available.

Speed guaranteed to the Trooli router. Wi-Fi speeds vary by device and home set-up, see www.trooli.com for more details. Trooli broadband excludes a phoneline (because it’s not needed).

The winner will be responsible for cancelling their broadband contract with their existing supplier.

The winner will be informed either by email or phone number, as per the details submitted within 2 weeks of the prize draw. All eligible entries have a fair and random chance of winning in the prize draw which will be carried out via an independently verified computer programme process. Phone calls will be made between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

Entry information may not be sold or exchanged.

Trooli reserves the right to verify all entries, applicants and the winner and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the offer / promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the Promotion or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.

Trooli will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize/gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity relating to this promotion without further remuneration, including (but not exclusive to) being included in PR or social network communications.
